THURSDAY - Forget your worries and experience the forest from a new perspective β snuggled in a cozy hammock, breathing the purest air of the inhabited world and listening to the sounds of the Arctic. Finnish people have been going into the woods for stress release and healing even before the modern research into the medicinal qualities of trees.
We begin with a short walk about 1km through our family's old woodlands and arrive at the hugging tree forest. Enjoy the ultimate in forest relaxation as your guide takes you through a series of specific exercises.
Afterwards we share a traditional warm home-made berry juice and a snack. Duration of the program about 2h. Location: HaliPuu forest, in Veitservasa, 10km from Levi centre. Transfer not included. We share our love of food and the places where we love to go with you. Enjoy a short snowshoe or walk to a Lapland style hut and share a meal cooked by the fire using locally sourced and foraged ingredients.
Lunch includes unique Lapland breads, nettle seeds, lingonberries, cloudberries and juniper. Enjoy our famous warm dark chocolate brownies with Arctic berries, served with chaga mushroom coffee and homemade cordials. Duration about ,5 hours. Group size: people suitable for all ages!
